Cris Cyborg Explains Why She Was at WWE Performance Center
– Cris Cyborg spoke with MMA Fighting and discussed her recent visit to the WWE Performance Center. The former women’s featherweight champion told the site, as you can see below, that she wasn’t there to train but would be down for a WWE run in the future.
“I was there for my church,” she said. “I was doing testimony at the church and I visited the place. Because a lot of people have said, ‘Oh, you need to fight Ronda, you need to fight Ronda’…I think it would help a lot to grow the sport.”
When asked if she trained there, Cyborg said she was “just visiting” and said she would be open to doing it in the future. “You know, it’s different,” she said. “It’s a challenge, a challenge for me. A lot of things I’d have to learn for it to happen. But you know, why not? You only have one life, you need to do the best you can do.”
