– Eddie Edwards & Naomichi Marufuji defeated Kongo Kong & KM @ 5:00 via pin [**½]
– Drago & Taiji Ishimori defeated Davey Richards & Sammy Guevara @ 6:08 via pin[**¾]

Idris Abraham vs. Drago: Abraham has quite the hair game. They lock up, work some back and forth as both men look for control. Drago fires away with kicks, Drago picks up the pace and hits a RANA. The drop toehold and cradle gets 2 for Drago. Abraham follows with kick and rights, picks up the pace and sends Drago to the floor, hitting a dive. Back in and Abraham hits a suplex, covering for 2. Abraham lays the boots to Drago, follows with an elbow drop, covering for 2. Abraham follow with chops and rights, Drago fires back and sends Abraham to the floor and follows with a plancha. Back in they go, and Drago covers for 2. Drago hits a face plant on Abraham, covering for 2. Abraham fights back, hits as rolling forearm and dropkick. Forearms follow, but Drago hits a superkick, covering for 2. They trade strikes, Drago lays in kicks and rolls into the dragon’s whip cradle and picks up the win. Drago defeated Idris Abraham @ 6:00 via pin [**¾] This was a pretty good little match, they used the time well, kept a good pace and overall it was fun. Abraham is a really solid undercard X-Division guy who seems to work well with everyone he works with.

Kongo Kong & KM vs. Eddie Edwards & Naomichi Marufuji: Kong and Marufuji in to begin, Marufuji looks to use his speed and attack, but Kong will have none of his bullshit. Marufuji hits some chops, Eddie blind tags in and they start to light up Kong. Kong quickly hits clotheslines to both, tags in KM and Eddie takes him down, allowing he and Marufuji to work double teams. Kong quickly fights back, suplexing Eddie and then laying the boots to him. Kong works the heat, just beating down Eddie and slamming him around. KM tags in and immediately misses an attack, allowing Eddie to get the tag to Marufuji. He lights up KM with chops, KM tries to no sell Marufuji, Kong makes the save and it breaks down with everyone in. Eddie pulls Kong to the floor, Marufuji & Eddie double team KM and then Eddie hits the suicide dive onto Kong. Marufuji finishes KM with the Shiranui for the win. Eddie Edwards & Naomichi Marufuji defeated Kongo Kong & KM @ 5:00 via pin [**½] If you’re going to give us the awesome team of Eddie Edwards & Naomichi Marufuji, surely we could give them some better opponents. This was an overall average match, Edwards & Marufuji are guys I not only want in the main event scene down the line, but I’d love to see them tangle with LAX or Garza Jr & Loredo Kid; both would be really fun matches. They did what they could considering the handicaps against them; 1) the time 2) KM.

Davey Richards & Sammy Guevara vs. Drago & Taiji Ishimori: Richards and Ishimori to begin, they work a fast paced opening with Ishimori taking control and tagging in Drago. Guevara in as well, they keep up the fast pace and keep it fun. Drago hits a RANA, but Richards pulls him to he floor. Guevara then follows with the dive to wipe out Drago. Richards in, working the heat on Drago and grounds him with an Indian death lock. Guevara tags in, hits a double stomp and follows with a snap suplex. Guevara up top and misses the moonsault and then misses the running shooting star press. Wholesale changes as Richards and Ishimori tags in, Ishimori runs wild and hits a shining wizard for 2. Ishimori hits a tombstone counter, after a bit of trouble, and hits a lung blower. He dumps Guevara, but Richards then counters the back handspring kick into an ankle lock. Ishimori has to fight off both men, but Guevara accidentally takes out Richards and Drago hits a dive to wipe him out. Ishimori hits a cross Rhodes on Guevara, and the 450 finishes it. Drago & Taiji Ishimori defeated Davey Richards & Sammy Guevara @ 6:08 via pin [**¾] This was pretty good, they largely worked well together, but it felt way too rushed; they needed more time.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

This was a really solid lineup this time round, but it should have been much better. You have guys like Drago, Edwards, Richards, Ishimori, and Marufuji all involved, but they weren’t given any significant amount of time to work with. That’s unfortunate.
