OFFICIAL RESULTS
– X-Division Title Match: Champion Low Ki defeated Caleb Konley @ 6:32 via pin [**½]
– Davey Richards defeated Vikus Kumar @ 2:27 via submission [NR]
– Impact Title Match: Champion Lashley defeated Moose @ 16:50 via pin [**]
– Knockouts Title Match: Champion Rosemary defeated Laurel Van Ness @ 2:06 via pin [NR]
– GFW Title Match: Champion Alberto El Patron defeated Chris Adonis @ 12:50 via pin [**]
– This is the first set of tapings from India.
– Prichard tells Borash and Mathews that the bickering ends tonight and that they have been acting like jackasses. If there is any physical altercation prior to Slammiversary, both are fired.
– We then get an Impact to India video package.
– GFW Champion Alberto El Patron makes his way to the ring.
Alberto Talks: Patron says he’s excited to be in India, and will kick some ass in the ring tonight. He loves wrestling and it has taken him around the world and he’s won a lot of titles, but there’s one more he needs. And that is the Impact title, which he will win on July 2nd at Slammiversary. Lashley disagrees with this bullshit and makes his way to the ring. Patron made the mistake of talking about Lashley, and Lashley says he’s the realest wrestler in the business; he’ll fight him in a ring, a cage or in the parking lot if need be. Lashley says Patron is a cheerleader that is more concerned about the fans than winning. Lashley says he will shut up Patron at Slammiversary, will take the GFW title and then Patron can walk his ass back to Mexico. And here comes Bruce Prichard. He likes seeing that they want to fight, and Prichard says that they will defend their titles tonight in India, and he will pick opponents for them. If the opponents win, they become champion and will go to Slammiversary. I was really hoping that they would break away from the opening promo and start things off in a new environment with an exciting match. It was fine.
– Bruce Prichard meets with the Mumbai Cats. They want title shots, and Prichard blows them off.
Champion Low Ki vs. Caleb Konley: Lock up to begin, but they quickly separate. Ki then takes Konley to the corner, they work back center and Ki follows with strikes. Chops follow as Ki takes control, but Konley sweeps the leg and covers for 2. Konley follows with kicks but Ki fires back with rights, and covers for 2. Ki follows with a head butt and then strikes, upper cuts then follow. Konley backs off to the corner, but Ki then locks in a grounded abdominal stretch. Konley escapes, lays in strikes and then runs into a boot. Ki gets ran into the ropes and Konley follows with a suicide dive to the floor; Ki is busted open by the left eye. Back in and Konley hits a high cross, covering for 2. Konley then hits a spinning backhand, covering for 2. Ki fights off the suplex, dropkicking Konley to the corner. Ki up top, Konley in the ropes and Ki hits the double stomp and wins. Champion Low Ki defeated Caleb Konley @ 6:32 via pin [**½] Again, I question, what has Konley done to deserve a title shot? People keep getting them with no explanation. It’s really not too much to ask for competent booking. Ki retains in a solid match, Konley got some good hope spots after the eye injury, but it just never felt as if it got going.
– Sonjay Dutt arrives, plays to the crowd and heads to the ring. He reminds Ki what he did to his eye, and now wants a title match. Dutt says they have history, and things have changed and now they are in India, and he has an entire country that has his back. He wants the match for next week, and Ki accepts.
– Swoggle is pissed that spud pulled his pants down, which is why he beat the hell out of him with a hammer. Swoggle won’t forget what Spud did to him, and vows revenge.
Vikus Kumar vs. Davey Richards: Richards attacks right away, and stomps away at him. Kumar hits a rough looking dropkick, but then sidesteps a plancha. Back in the ring, and Richards sets Kumar up top. Kumar with elbows, sends Richards to the mat and then misses a sloppy moonsault. Richards hits the running kick and ankle lock, and Kumar submits. Davey Richards defeated Vikus Kumar @ 2:27 via submission [NR] Even for a squash match, this was not good, at all. Mr. Kumar is a bad professional wrestler.
– EC3 arrives with a strap, and whips Kumar until Storm makes the save and runs off EC3. It appears that we’re building to a strap match at Slammiversary.
– Eli Drake complains to Prichard about his loss to Moose last week. He says Prichard screwed him, and Chris Adonis arrives and tries to calm things. They want the title shots against Lashley & Patron tonight. Prichard says he will consider it.
– We get an Impact Hall of Fame video package.
– Mathews and Borash hype the rest of the show, next week, Josh Mathews will have a sparring session to show off his skills. Ki vs. Dutt is next week’s main event.
– Swoggle chases Spud into the arena and then into the crowd. It continues.
– We get a video package on Mahabali Shera. We meet his brother and father.

– Next is a training video, featuring Joseph Park meeting with Jeremy Borash for a training session.
– End hour one.
Champion Lashley vs. Moose: They work the power vs. power battle to begin, they pick up the pace and Lashley hits a back elbow. Moose kips up and hits a dropkick, and follows with chops in the corner. Moose then runs up the ropes, and hits a high cross for 2. Chops follow, but Lashley wipes him out with a running cross body. Moose fires back with a bicycle kick, but Lashley cuts him off with a German suplex. They brawl to the floor, and Lashley slams him to the apron. Lashley maintains control, laying in strikes and then rolling Moose back into the ring. Lashley keeps Moose grounded, working a side headlock but as the ref checks the arm, Moose fires up and escapes. Lashley looks to climb the ropes, but Moose dropkicks him to the floor. Moose teased a dive, but Lashley pulls him to the floor. Post break, and Lashley picks up a cover for 2. Moose fights back, hits a running senton and then lands on his head trying the second rope moonsault. I’ve talked about this before; he needs to stop that, because he’s been coming up short on it for months. Moose fired up, hit a corner dropkick but Lashley leveled him with a lariat. Moose avoids the spear, and then he hits Lashley with a spear for 2. Moose up top, but Lashley hits a superplex for 2. Moose hits the pump kick, and hits the chokeslam for a near fall. Lashley then hits a spear for the win. Champion Lashley defeated Moose @ 16:50 via pin [**] What poor planning, giving away a title vs. title match with absolutely no build, that is just bad booking and gives you no chance to advertise and attempt to build your limited audience. If they had worked the right match they could have somewhat salvaged this. Instead they worked a bland and flat match. They should have really worked a hard-hitting sprint, which fits Lashley’s explosiveness, and is the environment where Moose thrives because he can play off of his power and athleticism. If you do that, and Moose looks really strong and gets some believable near falls, he at least comes out of this looking good. Instead, he’s just another victim with a title that they have no idea how to book. They almost worked the same exact match as they did on One Night Only Turning Point 2017, which was also a boring, bland and disappointing match. So they said fuck it and did it again, and just chopped off three-minutes. I really don’t need to see these two in another match.
– We get video from the LAX clubhouse. They celebrate being double champions, and say that the titles will get them what they want.
– We get a video on the talent traveling to India.
Champion Rosemary vs. Laurel Van Ness w/Sienna: Rosemary takes down LVN right away, laying in ground and pound. Sienna pulls Rosemary to the floor and beats her down, and then rolls her in so that LVN can attack. LVN runs around and yells, but Rosemary does her demon sit-up and fires back at LVN. The XPLODER follows, and Rosemary covers for 2. Rosemary runs LVN into Sienna, and rolls her up for the win. Champion Rosemary defeated Laurel Van Ness @ 2:06 via pin [NR] Not much of a match, it was more about some light set up for Sienna vs. Rosemary and to continue the odd couple relationship between Allie and Rosemary.
– Post match, Sienna attacks Rosemary, but Allie rushes out and makes the save. She and Rosemary stand tall. Allie’s reactions to her interactions with Rosemary are fantastic.
– KM meets with Prichard, and he wants to be Patron’s opponent, but Prichard denies him. KM thinks he’s the #1 contender, which Prichard disputes so KM does his bully act.
– Next is a video, featuring Joseph Park and Jeremy Borash attempting and failing to train for their match at Slammiversary. It was a big old comedy routine. Park says Borash needs to be an X-Division wrestler for them to have a chance. Borash does a belly flop into a pool.
– Borash and Mathews argue, again.
GFW Title Match: Champion Alberto El Patron vs. Chris Adonis w/Eli Drake: Adonis attacks at the bell, beating down Patron in the corner. They brawl to the floor, and into the crowd. They work back to ringside and then into the ring. Patron misses a dropkick, but Adonis gets the Adonis lock as Patron is on the apron. Adonis breaks, and Drake attacks as we go to the commercial. Post break, and Adonis works the heat on Patron, locking in a camel clutch. Patron escapes, but Adonis hits something resembling a clothesline. Adonis then whips Patron to the corner, and then works him over with jabs. Patron then fights back, dropkicking Adonis to the floor. Adonis back in and Patron hits clotheslines, and covers for 2. Patron misses a kick and runs into an Adonis spinebuster, and covers for 2. Patron hits a superkick, covering for 2. Patron then sets, but Adonis fights off the arm bar and works over Patron in the corner. They battle up top, but Patron works the arm bar in the ropes. Patron up top, but Adonis cuts him off, hitting a sky high for 2. Adonis looks for the Adonis lock, but Patron escapes and hits the double stomp and wins. Champion Alberto El Patron defeated Chris Adonis @ 12:50 via pin [**] This was another flat and lethargic match with no drama whatsoever. Patron won in what felt like 20-minutes.
– Post match, Drake & Adonis attack Patron as Lashley watches on but Moose makes the save, continuing their angle. Moose clears the ring and stands tall.
