Dakota Kai Announces Engagement To Karl Fredericks

The former Dakota Kai has announced that she and Karl Fredericks are tying the knot, making the reveal on her podcast. Charlie reveals on her ZELVX and CHARLIE GIRL with Thea Trinidad (aka Zelina Vega) that she and Fredericks are engaged.

If the podcast title (“CHARLIE GOT ENGAGED!”) didn’t give the hint, Charlie made it clear when during the episode, she was talking about Fredericks introducing her to new films. Trinidad said, “I love that she’s now watching all that stuff. That that makes me happy, because I’m just like, ‘A man with taste.'”

Charlie then smiled and repeated the phrase, flashing her engagement ring. You can see the video below; the clip starts at 25:08.

The couple have been dating since 2024, and Charlie noted that he proposed on their two-year anniversary. Fredericks was in WWE NXT as Eddy Thorpe, and they began dating when Charlie was in the company as Dakota Kai.
