Daria Rae, Mara Sade Join Cast Of Action Film Paper Made

TNA stars Daria Rae and Mara Sade have signed up for roles in the new martial arts action film Paper Made. Deadline reports that Rae and Sada have taken roles in the upcoming film, which is co-written and directed by Ryan Watson.

The two TNA stars join Myles Truitt, Walter E. Jones, and Taimak in the film, as well as Sam Lee Herring and martial artist Jair Muhammad. Watson and Jerron Horton wrote the film, which is described as follows:

The film is set in a fictional HBCU and follows Tavon Watkins (Myles Truitt), who joins a secret fraternity of Black martial artists after a severe hazing incident.

Rae is also set as a producer on the film alongside Shaun Greenspan and Brian Yuran. Rae and Yuran said in a statement:

““Growing up loving both martial arts and cinema in New Jersey, this story gripped us the first time we read Ryan and Jerron’s script. They have crafted a dynamic character piece with an action twist. This story transcends all cultures and Tavon is a protagonist for all.”

The movie will shoot next month in Florida. Rae joined TNA at the company’s TNA Impact premiere on AMC on January 15th.
