Darren Aronofsky Calls Hulk Hogan Out on The Wrestler Claim
– As had been reported, Hulk Hogan has gone on the record a few times now claiming that he was offered the role of Randy “The Ram” Robinson in The Wrestler, but had turned it down because he didn’t want his reputation to distract from the film itself. He reiterated this claim on his recent Howard Stern appearance.
Apparently, this little tidbit is news to Darren Aronofsky who as director and producer would probably know. Aronofsky posted to Twitter:
for the record the role of the wrestler was always @mickeyrourke it was never hulk hogan’s as he claims on @howardstern
