Davey Boy Smith Jr. says that he’s recovered his father’s WWE Hall of Fame ring after it was stolen earlier this week. As reported earlier on Wednesday, Smith was working a tour in Canada for Canadian Wrestling’s Elite when a number of items were stolen from him. Among the items stolen were his wrestling gear and travel bag, his father’s WWE Hall of Fame ring, a Hart Foundation leather vest, a gold chain and jewelry, and the CWE Tag Team Championship belt.

The vest, the gear and and the title belt had been recovered as of yesterday, but the Hall of Fame ring had yet to be recovered. That has changed, as Smith posted to Instagram and announced that the ring has been located. Smith noted that someone tried to pawn it, leading to authorities being contacted.

Smith wrote:

“GOOD NEWS!!… my dads @wwe Hall of Fame ring has been FOUND!!! Someone tried to pawn it, and the police were called! Thank you all for your help and getting the word spread on this matter!”

The late Davey Boy Smith, aka the British Bulldog, was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2021. He was part of the 2020 Hall of Fame class, but wasn’t inducted until the next year due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

Nattie had offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen items.
