Dax Harwood believes that Kevin Knight will be a “big star” in AEW in just a few years. Knight & Mike Bailey are teamed up as JetSpeed, and Harwood shouted out FTR’s chemistry with the team in an interview with Beyond the Bell.
Harwood talked about past tag teams he would have liked to face in the interview. He also discuused how they have the most chemistry with JetSpeed since their days of facing American Alpha in WWE. You can see highlights below:
On Which Past Tag Teams He’d Have Liked to Wrestle:
“Past is a lot. I mean, I’d love to — obviously my favorite of all time is Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart. I think he’s the greatest everything. And I’m blessed and fortunate now to call him a friend and we text all the time, but I’d love to wrestle the Hart Foundation.
“I’d love to have wrestled the Fantastics. They were a tag team that was before [their time]. If they would have come in wrestling about 10 years later, I think they would have been looked at a little bit differently. Obviously, like we said Arn and Tully and the Midnight Express of course.”
On Current Teams He Hasn’t Faced Yet That He’d Like To:
“As far as teams nowadays that I’d like to wrestle. I don’t know, I think we’ve wrestled everybody, man. I’ll tell you, Jet Speed is — I texted Chad Gable. I said, ‘We have we have more chemistry with JetSpeed than anybody else we’ve had since we wrestled since American Alpha.
“I think Kevin Knight is gonna be — I think he’s going to be our main event ace… I’ve never been with someone in the ring who knows ring positioning, who’s as smart as he is, who knows timing. That guy, I could say a million good things about him. But he will be a big star for us in about three to five years.”
