Dean Ambrose Still Rumored to be Leaving WWE in April

– As previously reported, The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez mentioned a rumor this week that Dean Ambrose was “probably staying” in the WWE. Alvarez stated that this was a “rumor” over the weekend and that he wasn’t actually reporting that Ambrose is not leaving. However, during the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that the current mindset is that Dean Ambrose is still leaving the WWE in April.

Meltzer discussed the reunion of The Shield that took place this week, and he indicated that Ambrose isn’t going to be around after Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar in April “unless he [Dean] changes his mind.” This might hint at how WWE is marketing The Shield reunion at Fastlane as “one last time” for the group.
