The daughter of Dean Malenko has made her debut for Pro Wrestling NOAH, working her first match for the company on Monday. Fightful reports that Marie Malenko made her pro wrestling debut at NOAH’s MONDAY MAGIC show on Monday, competing in a three-way tag team match. Malenko teamed with Sofia Sivan to face the teams of Great Sakuya & Alivia Rose and ZONES & Dream Girl Ellie.
Sakuya and Rose were victorious in the bout, which went a little under nine and a half minutes. Erick Stevens noted on Twitter that he trained Malenko, writing:
“I’ve trained with this young lady. She’s definitely a Malenko. With more experience, I think she could become one of the best technical wrestlers in the country.”
Malenko’s father is Dean Malenko, best known for his time in WCW and WWE, the latter as part of the Radicalz. Dead is a former four-time WCW Cruiserweight Champion, a former WCW United States Heavyweight Champion, and was a two-time WWF Light Heavyweight Champion. He retired from the ring in 2001 and is currently part of AEW’s producing team.
No word as of yet on whether Marie Malenko is set for more appearances for Pro Wrestling NOAH going forward.
