WWE is set to reveal more WWE ID deals soon, and a new report has some details on the matter. Fightful Select reports that, according to sources, more ID deals will be announced in the weeks to come. This comes after the company announced last weekend that Jariel Rivera had signed on board via the program.
The report specifically notes that several signings of women have been made under the developmental program’s banner. No word as of now regarding the names of the signings, nor how many may be on the way.
The program was announced in October of 2024 and is designed to sign independent talent to deals, giving them access to WWE resources while they continue working the indie scene. A number of wrestling schools are associated with the program, such as Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling and Cody Rhodes & QT Marshall’s Nightmare Factory. Talent under the contracts also often work matches on WWE Evolve.
The current Women’s Champion is Laynie Luck, who won the vacant title in November. The previous WWE ID Women’s Champion, Kylie Rae, vacated the title in September due to becoming pregnant. She was the inaugural champion.
Luck earned a WWE ID contract with the title win. There’s no word on specifically when the reveals may be announced.
