According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Drew McIntyre underwent surgery for his biceps tear that took place at Takeover: WarGames. The surgery reattached the biceps, McIntyre was lucky that there was no swelling and that they could do the surgery so soon; everything went as well as possible for the kind of surgery he had. McIntyre is targeting a return for the first week of April, which is considered very optimistic. Recovery from surgery for a biceps tear is usually a six to eight months recovery period, so he could be out as long as May or July.
