Drew McIntyre Undergoes Successful Surgery to Repair His Torn Biceps, Details on His Return

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Drew McIntyre underwent surgery for his biceps tear that took place at Takeover: WarGames. The surgery reattached the biceps, McIntyre was lucky that there was no swelling and that they could do the surgery so soon; everything went as well as possible for the kind of surgery he had. McIntyre is targeting a return for the first week of April, which is considered very optimistic. Recovery from surgery for a biceps tear is usually a six to eight months recovery period, so he could be out as long as May or July.
