An AEW veteran made his TV return tonight during the Zero Hour pre-show at AEW Worlds End 2025. Ortiz was back tonight, coming to the aid of his “best friend,” Eddie Kingston. Eddie Kingston faced the Grizzled Young Veterans’ Zack Gibson, as a feud from ROH boiled over into Zero Hour.

Gibson almost scored an upset aftre hitting Kingston with a Lung Blower. However, Kingston managed to kick out. After a leaping Enzigiri and DDT, Eddie Kingston achieved a clean pinfall win over Gibson. However, the action was not yet over.

The angry Grizzled Young Veterans retaliated, and they attacked the prone Kingston. That eventually drew out the shocking return of Ortiz, who hasn’t appeared on AEW TV since January 2024.

Ortiz came to the aid of his friend and former tag team partner, evening the odds and making the save for Kingston. So after the recent betrayal of Hook, it looks like Eddie Kingston has gained help from an old ally in his fight against the GYV with Ortiz.

Highlights and clips from the bout, along with Ortiz’s return, are available below. You can also check out 411’s live coverage of AEW Worlds End 2025 RIGHT HERE.
