El Hijo Del Vikingo Defeats El Grande Americano To Become No.1 Contender For AAA Mega Title

El Hijo del Vikingo is the new number-one contender to Dominik Mysterio’s AAA Mega Championship. The former champion defeated El Grande Americano at AAA’s debut show on FOX in Latin America.
In the closing moments of the match, Dorian Roldan prevented El Grande Americano from executing a Superflex on Vikingo by pulling the latter’s feet. As the match official got busy dealing with Roldan, Americano slipped outside the ring to get hold of the foreign object that he often used to beat his opponents.
However, Omos prevented him from using it. Vikingo capitalized on the distraction and hit a 630 Splash on Americano to seal a pinfall victory. After the match, Omos got the better of Americano before Rey Mysterio came to the masked star’s aid with a kendo stick in his hands.
Vikingo will now challenge Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship. It is yet to be ascertained when the match will take place.
