El Phantasmo vs. Chris Brookes NJPW World TV Title Match Added to Wrestle Kingdom 20

New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) has confirmed the final card for Wrestle Kingdom 20, including a new NJPW World TV Championship bout. El Phantasmo will defend his title against Chris Brookes.

Chris Brookes stepped up to challenge El Phantasmo during yesterday’s (Dec. 22) Road to Tokyo Dome show at Korakuen Hall. El Phantasmo defended his belt against Ryusuke Taguchi at the event, and then Brookes issued a challenge to the champion.

El Phantasmo has held the title since April, after defeating The Great-O-Khan, and has defended it on five occasions. This now brings the match lineup for the upcoming event to eight.

NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 takes place on Sunday, January 4 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. It will stream live on NJPW World. Here’s the updated lineup:
