– Comedian Eric Andre of The Eric Andre Show appeared on last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he revealed he was injured in a stunt for a segment on his show with WWE’s John Cena. You can see a clip of the stunt and segment featuring Cena, along with Andre discussing what happened below.
According to Andre, he suffered a concussion and had a nasty bump on the head after the stunt, after which he went to the hospital. Andre noted that Cena performed the stunt properly and was not at fault, but the stunt was not correctly prepped. Andre stated on the stunt:
“John Cena did the stunt right, but we prepped for the stunt wrong. That metal shelf came over and clocked me in the head, and I got concussed. I went to the hospital. … I went to the hospital immediately. I had like a Fred Flintstone, Bugs Bunny [motions a giant bump] on the side of my head. And they did a CAT scan, and I haven’t been able to speak English since. I memorized this interview phonetically, actually. I don’t know a thing.”
