Ethan Page was taken to his absolute limits in the Day of the Dead Match against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. at NXT Halloween Havoc 2025. However, All Ego managed to find a way to retain his North American Championship.

All Ego found himself on the back foot in the initial stages of the match. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. launched an early assault on the champion. The reigning AAA Latin American Champion took out Page with a Missle Dropkick off the top rope before dropkicking a steel chair on Ethan’s backside.

However, Page was eventually able to wrestle back some control by throwing Wagner off the top rope into a trash can and then inflicting punishment on his opponent via a steel chair.

At one point in the match, Page ripped off a part of Dr. Wagner’s mask. This led to the luchador unleashing his fury on All Ego and mounting relentless attacks. He placed Page in a corner with a trash can and took out the champion with a Coast-to-Coast Dropkick. However, All Ego managed to kick out.

Page managed to turn the tables by again going after Wagner’s mask. Though he managed to save his mask, Ethan sent him crashing into a steel chair-laden corner and then nailed Ego’s Edge on a trash can. However, Wagner managed to stay afloat.

Ethan then took Wagner to the top of the corner, but the latter countered it with a Hurricanrana on a steel chair. Wagner went on to nail a Moonsault on Page before setting up the table and attempting a Superplex to finish off the defending champion.

However, All Ego countered it and again tried to rip off Wagner’s mask. As Wagner was busy adjusting his mask, Page threw powder into Wagner’s eyes and then nailed an avalanche Twisted Grin threw a table to retain his gold.
