Ethan Page Fails to Defend AAA World Mixed Tag Team Title With New Partner In Absence of Injured Chelsea Green

WWE Superstars Ethan Page and Chelsea Green are no longer the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions.

The February 7, 2026, episode of the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide show saw Mr. Iguana and WWE’s Lola Vice capture the World Mixed Tag Team Championship.

Ahead of the championship defense, North American Champion Ethan Page received bad news from her partner, as The Hot Mess informed All Ego on FaceTime that she would not be able to make it to the show, as she is currently in a walking boot.

Corey Graves later revealed that Green sustained the injury during the Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match against Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend this Friday night on SmackDown.

Le Hiedra stepped up to defend the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship alongside Page. However, it didn’t prove to be enough, as Vice pinned her in the final stages of the match to capture the belts for herself and Iguana.

Page and Chelsea’s reign lasted 98 days. They won the belts by defeating Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra at AAA Alianzas in early November last year.

Green has since reacted to her and Page losing the championship and AAA going ahead with the match despite her injury.
