Excalibur Invites Mayor Zohran Mamdani to AEW Double or Nothing 2026

AEW broadcaster Excalibur has extended an invitation to New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani to tomorrow’s AEW Double or Nothing 2026 event. In a post on his Blue Sky account, Excalibur tagged Mayor Mamdani and wrote (see below), “Are you free on Sunday, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social?”
It’s unknown if Mayor Mamdani will accept the invitation. Mamdani is a wrestling fan, and he was previously in attendance at AEW Grand Slam 2021, featuring Bryan Danielson vs. Kenny Omega.
Tomorrow’s Double or Nothing is being held at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. As previously reported, tomorrow’s event is sold out. AEW Double or Nothing 2026 will be broadcast live on pay-per-view. 411 will also have live coverage of the event.
