Note On Expected Creative Favorites, Main Event For WWE Money in the Bank

WWE Money in the Bank is this weekend and a new report has a note on the expected creative favorites for the ladder matches. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that according to a source in the company, the current creative favorites for the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match is either Penta or Bron Breakker, while Lash Legend and Roxanne Perez are the top favorites for the women’s Money in the bank match.

Sources noted that at one point, there was an idea to have Trick Williams as the winner. CM Punk and Kevin Owens are not expected to be the winners in order to keep the main story on WWE Smackdown, where several stars are going for Sami Zayn’s title, going, though one source thought adding the briefcase to the story could add to the matter.

In addition, sources noted to WrestleVotes that the main event will be LA Knight vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. There was a brief discussion of the men’s Money in the Bank match main eventing but that as of this writing, the World Title match is set as the headlining match.

WWE Money in the Bank takes place on October 10th at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana and airs live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally. The card is as follows:

* World Heavyweight Championship Match: Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight.
* Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan & Becky Lynch.
* Men’s Money in the Bank Match: Bron Breakker vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Trick Williams vs. Penta vs. CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens.
* Women’s Money in the Bank Match: Sol Ruca vs. Lola Vice vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Lash Legend vs. Tiffany Stratton.
* Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed.
