As previously reported, AEW star David Finlay and Gabe Kidd recently took shots at Finlay’s father, Fit Finlay, during a recent interview with WrestleZone. Now, Fit has responded with a comeback of his own.
As previously reported, David Finlay said of his father, “My dad’s greatest accomplishment is the fact that I came out of his nut sack. That’s the greatest thing he has ever accomplished.”
Fit Finlay later fired back, stating that David’s brother, NXT Superstar Uriah Connors, is Fit’s greatest accomplishment. He wrote on his X account (see below), “Maybe @THEdavidfinlay, your Brother, Brogan FINLAY @WWE_URIAH is my greatest accomplishment, he had to change his name. I suggest you go ahead and change yours! And those runts you hang out with… put the down!”
Earlier this week, Fit Finlay and William Regal appeared on NXT TV, leading The Birthright stable’s attack on Tavion Heights. They will reportedly be appearing on NXT TV regularly moving forward.
