Former WWE ID Prospect Makes AEW Singles Debut on Tonight’s Collision

Former WWE ID prospect Marcus Mathers made his AEW singles debut on tonight’s Collision.

Mathers went one-on-one with Nick Wayne. He ended up losing the match via pinfall after Nick connected with Wayne’s World.

Marcus previously wrestled a tag team match at the now-defunct AEW Rampage show in September 2024. Two months later, Mathers signed a WWE ID contract. He was featured on EVOLVE and also worked Dark matches at NXT tapings. His deal with the promotion ended last month.

Earlier this month, Marcus Mathers made his Ring of Honor debut, facing Mark Davis in a losing cause.
