Frankie Kazarian Explains Why He Hates Halloween Ends

Former TNA World Champion and movie lover Frankie Kazarian is not a fan of the highly controversial Halloween Ends, the concluding feature of the new Halloween trilogy that started in 2018.
Kazarian argues what hurts the movie is its connection to the Halloween franchise, using a story with Michael Myers, aka the Shape, and Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). He says if the movie was not about those characters, it would’ve been “passable.
Kazarian wrote on his X account yesterday, “If Halloween Ends was a movie NOT about Michael Myers or Laurie and NOT set in Haddonfield, and NOT a Halloween movie at all, but a stand alone film about a killer, his affect on a random town and its people and the fall out, it would be passable. As it stands now I still hate it.”
Overall, Halloween Ends was still a financial success for Universal Pictures. It grossed $64 million domestically and $104 million worldwide off of a $30 million budget. It didn’t fare as well with critics, garnering a 40% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
