Frankie Kazarian is sticking with TNA, announcing at No Surrender that he’s signed a new deal with the company before facing a returning Alan Angels. Friday night’s TNA+ event saw the return of Alan Angels in the pre-show, with an intended match against Ryan Nemeth. However, Kazarian came out to interrupt and did an impromptu King’s Speech segment.

Kazarian said that his segment was more important than the match and Nemeth left, while Angels stayed. Kazarian proceeded to reveal that he had signed a new TNA contract that was a big pay raise, talking about how he earned it and that he would get back into the World Championship picture after losing the title to Mike Santana.

Kazarian said he would be watching the main event closely, after which Angels grabbed the mic and said he didn’t remember Kazarian being such an asshole. That led into a match between the two.

Angels hit a couple of moves, but Kazarian was able to quickly turn it into a chickenwing for the submission.

Kazarian made his return to TNA in 2021 after a run in AEW. He won the World Championship from Santana via the Call Your Shot trophy on the November 13th episode of Impact. He lost the title back to Santana on TNA’s AMC debut last month. You can see highlights from the segment and match below.
