Gable Steveson Successful In His Second MMA Fight

Gable Steveson continued his run of success in the world of fighting on Sunday night. The two-time former NCAA National Wrestling Champion & 2020 Olympic Gold Medalist won his second MMA fight in twenty-four seconds. Opponent Kevin Hein never had a chance, as shown below:

As wrestling fans know, Steveson’s stint with WWE wasn’t as successful as anybody involved was hoping. He wrestled one televised match during his time with the company, along with several dark matches on SmackDown. Gable & Baron Corbin fought to a double countout at 2023’s NXT Great American Bash. Some said that Steveson rubbed people the wrong way.

While Gable has said he wants to keep the door to pro wrestling open, the door to TKO employment may go through UFC. Dana White has said that UFC is keeping an eye on Steveson, and Steveson has been sure to mention UFC in his post-fight interviews.

Wrestling fans might not be seeing Gable Steveson competing on Raw or SmackDown, but perhaps they can expect to see him ringside with the celebrities one of these days.
