As previously reported, former WWE President George Barrios wrote a book about his time in WWE, titled Sometimes Wrong but Never in Doubt: How a Cuban Kid from Queens Transformed WWE. The book was released earlier in June, and Barrios is currently scheduled to make a rare public appearance for an upcoming book signing.
Toy Stop NYC 2 announced that Barrios will be appearing there for a book signing from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm local time on Sunday, September 20. The guest announcement reads, “Guest Announcement: Former WWE President George Barrios will be making a rare appearance to sell his new book. He will be appearing from 11 am-1 pm.”
Barrios first joined WWE in 2008 as the promotion’s Chief Financial Officer. He later became Co-President of WWE with Michelle Wilson from 2018 to 2020. He was fired from his post by Vince McMahon in January 2020.
Despite his firing, Barrios rejoined WWE at McMahon’s best in 2023. He and Wilson rejoined WWE’s Board of Directors early in the year to facilitate WWE’s eventual sale. The company was later acquired by WME, with its merger with UFC under the TKO banner being completed later in the year.
Barrios’ book is currently available in Kindle, hardcover, and audiobook formats on Amazon.com.
