Gisele Shaw vs. Deonna Purrazzo Women’s Canadian Title Match Set for Tonight’s MLP Uprising 2026

During last night’s ROH x MLP Global Wars event, ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo scored a huge win over Gisele Shaw. As a result, Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling has determined that Purrazzo will now challenge Shaw for the MLP Women’s Canadian Championship later tonight at MLP Uprising.

Per the announcement, “BREAKING NEWS: After defeating @GiseleShaw08 to retain her ROH Women’s Pure Championship tonight, @DeonnaPurrazzo will challenge for the MLP Women’s Canadian Championship TOMORROW at UPRISING! Don’t miss the rematch at 7PM ET tomorrow night!”

Also, as noted, MLP Canadian Champion Josh Alexander announced this week that he’s injured and will need to undergo surgery. As a result, MLP intends to crown a new champion later at Uprising (h/t Fightful).

Tonight’s Uprising show is being held at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The show will air live on TrillerTV, starting at 7:00 pm ET.
