Highspots.TV Announces It Is Shutting Down Next Month

Highspots.TV has announced that it is will shut down operations at the end of next month. The streaming service, which is part of the overall Highspots umbrella, announced (per PWInsider) on Thursday that it will shutting down on February 22nd.
The announcement noted that Highspots has decided to “decision to streamline our platforms and focus our energy on where we can deliver the best experience possible. This means consolidating our content, improving reliability, and putting more resources behind the areas that serve our community the strongest.”
It goes on to state:
“To be clear: Highspots is not going anywhere.
Highspots.com, HighspotsAuctions.com, WrestleCon, our signings, events, and live experiences are all full steam ahead and stronger than ever.
Highspots.TV was an important chapter in our story, and we’re proud of everything it represented. This isn’t an ending — it’s an evolution.
Thank you for being part of the journey. We’ll see you in the next chapter.”
Highspots.TV first launched back in 2005 with the ability to buy matches from various promotions. The livestreaming and VOD service launched in August of 2012. It was previously known as the Highspots Wrestling Network.
