Himanshu’s TNA Impact Review 9.11.25  

Hey there, TNA fans! It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time for another episode of TNA iMPACT! I’m Himanshu (you can follow me on Twitter @Himanshu_Doi) and you know how this works. Tonight on iMPACT, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, Myron Reed, and Jake Something battle for the chance to challenge Leon Slater at Victory Road, Jessie McKay steps into the ring with Heather By Elegance and more. So, let’s jump right in!

Match 1: Moose vs. A.J. Francis

Mustafa Ali makes his way out with Order 4 before the match begins and joins the announce team. Moose hits a dropkick on Francis and Francis goes to the outside. Moose gets distracted by Mustafa Ali and Francis punches him in the face. Moose whips him into the corner post. Francis hits a suplex on Moose. Francis with a headlock and Moose tries to fight out of it as we go to commercial. Back from commercial and he goes for the Three Amigos, but Moose reverses it into a suplex of his own. Francis hits a pop-up elbow. Moose goes to the outside and Francis follows him. Moose whips Francis into the steel steps. Moose runs towards Francis and Francis picks him up for a pop-up powerbomb on the apron. Back in the ring and Francis covers Moose for a two count. Francis hits a running knee. Francis clubs Moose on his back and Moose hulks up. Francis goes for a chokeslam but Moose headbutts him and runs up the ropes for a crossbody. Francis hits a TFL for two. A member of the security distracts the referee as Ali looks to dropkick Moose but hits Francis instead. Moose hits the Spear on Francis for the win.

Result: Moose def. A.J. Francis by pinfall

Moose gets on the mic and challenges Mustafa Ali to a one-on-one match at Victory Road.

The System are seen watching from the monitor. Gia Miller walks up to interview them and Eddie Edwards says The System goes out there and whoop their ass tonight. Myers says tonight is about the Nemeth brothers. Alisha says you can always trust The System.

A promo airs for Victory Road on September 26th.

A Rascalz Treehouse segment and Trey Miguel appears and says he’s back and they get excited. Wentz says if they win this, one of them will be the X-Division Champion. They have a smoke, and Trey asks what’s Jake’s name and Wentz says Something. Trey asks how he could forget his name. Trey says it’s probably going to him and Leon Slater at Victory Road. Wentz says it has to be him. Miguel says after Victory Road, Leon Slater is going to cry in a car.

Eric Young comes out before the match and gets his music cut off. Travis Williams attacks Joe Hendry from behind.

Match 2: Joe Hendry vs. Travis Williams

Eric Young was supposed to face Joe Hendry, but the match was changed without Hendry’s knowledge. Joe Hendry hits a suplex on Williams. Eric Young and Judas Icarus look to interfere, but the referee ejects them both. Hendry hits a Fallaway Slam and kips up. Hendry hits an Attitude Adjustment off a handspring and hits the Standing Ovation for the win.

Result: Joe Hendry def. Travis Williams by pinfall
Reaction: **

After the match, Eric Young and Judas Icarus rush to the ring, but Joe Hendry gets out. Eric Young looks to piledrive Williams, but Icarus stops him. Young tells Icarus to do it, but he doesn’t and Young strikes him in the face. Young piledrives them twice each.

Matt Cardona with a backstage promo says Ryan Nemeth says he couldn’t be ready for a delusional idiot like him. He says nobody likes him. He dares Ryan to stick his nose in Cardona’s business again.

Victoria Crawford comes out and invites everyone to her podcast. She says her first guest is Gia Miller. Gia is confused and walks up to the stage to join Victoria. Victoria asks her how she feels keeping somebody on home with no job, no money. Gia says she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Victoria says she’s talking about Tessa. Gia says Tessa attacked her. Victoria says she expected some mercy. Victoria says Gia suspended her friend Tessa. Gia says it’s Tessa’s fault she’s not here and it’s Victoria’s fault as well. Jody Threat comes out to separate them and Victoria leaves and calls them potato heads.

Match 3: Jake Something vs. Myron Reed vs. Trey Miguel vs. Zachary Wentz

Leon Slater joins the announce team for this match. Jake Something holds on to a hurricanrana by Reed and Miguel joins in for a hurricanrana. The Rascalz hit a suicide dive on Something on the outside. They all roll each other up for a pin. Reed hits an enzuigiri on Miguel. Wentz hits a springboard tornillo on Reed for two. Miguel hits a single leg dropkick on Wentz. Something hits a shoulder block and clotheslines on everyone. He powerbombs Wentz on the others. Something hits a Torture Rack Backbreaker for two. Something sets up Miguel on the top turnbuckle, but Miguel fights out of it and Wentz and Reed team up with him to powerbomb Something down. Miguel hits a slingblade backbreaker on Reed and Something hits Into the Void for two. Wentz hits the UFO Cutter, but Miguel pulls him out before the three. Reed hits the Springboard 450 for the win.

Result: Myron Reed def. Jake Something, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz by pinfall

Myron Reed will challenge Leon Slater at Victory Road. They both face off after the match.

Time for the TNA Injury Report presented by Bioflex, and Mara Sade is out due to bruising for the next couple of weeks, Indi Hartwell and Jody Threat are both cleared, the status of Icarus and Williams are unknown.

Jake Something is walking backstage and Kazarian is there. Kazarian says brute strength isn’t enough in this business. He says he is going to be TNA World Champion. He asks Something if he wants to be part of TNA history. He tells Something to learn from him. He asks Jake if he finally wants to be something.

Match 4: Jessie McKay vs. Heather by Elegance

Heather hits a dropkick for two and gets a sleeper hold. Jessie fights out of it and whips Heather in the corner for a double knee. Jessie hits a big boot for two. Jessie sets up Heather on the top turnbuckle and goes for a superplex but Heather fights out of it. Heather goes for a springboard moonsault but Jessie gets her knees up. The Personal Concierge distracts and Heather rolls her up and gets her feet on the ropes.

Result: Heather by Elegance def. Jessie McKay by pinfall

After the match, Heather and M by Elegance attack Jessie. Santino Marella comes out and says M is going to fight Cassie Lee after the break.

Match 5: Cassie Lee vs. M by Elegance

M hits a boot on Cassie for two. M hits a suplex for two. M hits a big boot for two. M with a stretch but Cassie hits a jawbreaker. Cassie hits a spinning leg lariat. Cassie hits a Codebreaker for two. Cassie hits a release German Suplex followed by the Inspiral for the win.

Result: Cassie Lee def. M by Elegance by pinfall

We see a promo for Steve Maclin’s Immersed.

A video package for Steve Maclin. He names the people he has defended the International title against. He says Kazarian’s opinion doesn’t mean a damn thing. He says he is the present and future of TNA. He says Kazarian’s time is running out. He says they’re going to call Kazarian “King Nothing” and he will be the same old jarhead.

The Personal Concierge walks up to Santino Marella and says he’s worried about Victory Road. He says we need some type of stipulation. Santino books a No DQ match with Indi Hartwell as the special referee. The Personal Concierge talks about Victory Road and Santino books Heather and M by Elegance vs The IInspiration. The Personal Concierge talks about iMPACT and Santino books The Elegance Brand vs. The IInspiration and Masha Slamovich next week on iMPACT.

Mike Santana walks out through the crowd but Trick Williams attacks him from behind. Williams throws him over the guardrail and security separates them.

Match 6: Ryan & Nic Nemeth vs. Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards

Brian Myers hits a reverse Atomic Drop on Ryan Nemeth. Myers gets the tag to Eddie Edwards. Edwards with a flapjack to Nic and belly-to-belly suplex to Ryan Nemeth. Edwards sets up Nic on the top rope for a Frankensteiner for two. Edwards and Nic exchange pins for two and Nic hits a Famouser for two. Nic and Eddie take out the non-legal guys from opposite corners and Eddie hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for two. Myers takes out Ryan to the outside. Mustafa Ali sends The Great Hands to the ring but Eddie Edwards takes them out with a Suicide Dive. Nic hits the superkick followed by the Danger Zone for the win.

Result: Ryan & Nic Nemeth def. Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards by pinfall

Ryan Nemeth gets on the mic and says they’re invoking their tag team rematch next week. The Hardys make their entrance. The referees separate them. They face off with each other and The Hardys enter the ring as The Nemeths retreat.
