During a recent appearance on The Ham Radio Show, Hulk Hogan: Real American director Bryan Storkel addressed Brooke Hogan, the daughter of late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, not appearing in the docuseries. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):

Bryan Strorkel on Brooke Hogan Not Appearing in the Hulk Hogan Docuseries

“I would have loved to talk to her. At the time we filmed with Hulk, he hadn’t spoken to her for a couple of years. I talked to him about Brooke, and he clearly loved her and cared about her and was heartbroken. I don’t know what all happened there, but I did reach out to her a couple of times, and she didn’t respond. I think if she wanted to be part of it, she could’ve. I don’t know the details of what went wrong between them, but it was sad for me to realize that she wasn’t going to be part of helping to tell her dad’s story.”

On Brooke Saying She Wasn’t Interested

“She’s said now that she wasn’t interested, and that’s fine. I respect her for that. I never want to push anyone too hard to be part of something they don’t want to be in. That’s their choice.”

Brooke Hogan recently criticized the docuseries during an appearance on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show, saying it was “missing about 98% of critical real-life factual” material. Hulk Hogan: Real American is streaming now on Netflix.
