Impact Wrestling Planning to Tape TV in Major Markets Like New York, Toronto. & Chicago

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Impact Wrestling is planning to tape TV from major markets with multiple shows in a row, such as New York, Toronto or Chicago. Many are skeptical of them taping outside of Canada, because they are getting tax breaks for filming in Canada, and the expense of taping in New York or Chicago would be high for a company.

The company is trying to cut costs because they aren’t bringing in much money. Also, in the past, the company got itself into major financial trouble the last time it started taping on the road. Part of that was running venues that were too large and they were doing multiple nights in the same building.
