Note On Internal Speculation Around AAA TripleMania Night One Location

AAA TripleMania is set to take place over two nights this year, and there is reportedly internal speculation about where the first night will be held. It was announced during WWE Backlash that the 2026 iteration of AAA’s signature event will take place on September 11th and September 13th, with the second night taking place at Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City.

While WWE has not announced a location for night one, Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that the speculation within the company is that the first night could come from somewhere in the United States. The report also notes that there are additional plans to integrate more AAA elements into WWE programming, a move that would help expand the Mexican promotion’s reach.

It is said that several WWE talent have expressed interest in working AAA shows. No word on specifically which talent, nor how they may end up being used.

This year’s TriplemMania will be the 34th iteration of the event. Last year’s show took place on August 16th and was held at Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The main event saw El Hijo del Vikingo retain the AAA Mega Championship against Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and El Grande Americano.
