Io Shirai Confirms She’s Leaving STARDOM

– Japanese women’s star Io Shirai has confirmed that she is leaving STARDOM, fueling the rumors she’s on her way to WWE. Shirai posted to her blog and said, “I’m going to leave STARDOM for the next step in my pro wrestling career. My last match with STARDOM will be on June 17th at Korakuen Hall.”

A report from earlier this week said Shirai was leaving STARDOM and would be headed to WWE. Shirai was offered a WWE deal last spring after a tryout, but she failed her medical testing and then returned to STARDOM.
