Jake Hager Set to Make His In-Ring Return at Next Month’s WWC Aniversario 53

Former WWE Superstar and AEW star Jake Hager will be making his in-ring return next month for the World Wrestling Council (WWC). He’ll be stepping into the ring at WWC Aniversario 53.
WWC announced the news earlier today via Instagram (see below). An opponent for Hager has not yet been revealed.
Hager previously announced his retirement from pro wrestling in August 2025. The former World Heavyweight Champion also recently made his Power Slap debut, beating Dave Jenkins with a third-round KO.
WWC Aniversario 53, featuring the in-ring return of Jake Hager, takes place on Saturday, June 27 at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Tickets for the event go on sale at PRTicket.com.
