Jalen Brunson Accepts Roman Reigns Invite to Attend WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden

WWE will be running Saturday Night’s Main Event this Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City. We already knew there would be at least some reference to the New York Knicks, as Danhausen was a key factor in their winning the NBA Finals over the San Antonio Spurs and obtaining their first NBA Championship in fifty-three years. As important as Danhasuen was, someone even more important to the Knicks’ recent success will be in attendance for Saturday’s event.
Roman Reigns extended an invite to Jalen Brunson to attend SNME at MSG, and the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player was more than happy to accept. Brunson has previously appeared on WWE television on a handful of occasions, including a confrontation with his rival from the Indiana Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton on the June 28, 2024 edition of SmackDown which also took place at the Garden.

WWE originally hoped that Brunson would be able to get physically involved on Saturday’s show, but recent surgery on his wrist will prevent that. Whether the wrist will prevent Jalen Brunson from cursing people or acknowledging the Tribal Chief remains to be seen.
