James Storm Now Taking Independent Bookings, Rumored For WWE
SportsKeeda reports that there are rumors from “multiple industry experts” that James Storm could be headed to WWE after leaving Impact Wrestling. However, it also notes that Storm is now taking independent bookings through Bill Behrens at SBI Bookings, which would seem to indicate that he’s not going to WWE any time soon. It’s always possible that Storm is looking for work while WWE waits the usual ninety days after the end of a contract to begin negotiations with a new free agent. WWE policy states that they do not negotiate with a performer until three months after their contract is up for another company.
As of now, the only thing confirmed is that he’s taking independent bookings. He previously worked for NXT after an Impact departure, before leaving WWE and returning to Impact in 2016.
