Jay White is expected to miss one to two months after suffering an undisclosed injury during the Tailgate Brawl match at AEW All Out.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that White would be out “one to two months” but has not disclosed White’s specific injury or confirmed exactly when it occurred. He noted it seems the star’s “body is turning on him.”
White competed in the eight-man Tailgate Brawl match on the September 26 All Out pre-show. He teamed with Bang Bang Gang stablemates Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, and Ace Austin against The Dogs and The Death Riders. White’s team won the match after he pinned Wheeler Yuta.
AEW commentator Tony Schiavone announced White’s injury during Collision. The promotion has not provided a diagnosis, treatment plan, or specific return date.
The setback comes after White recently returned from an extended absence. He was sidelined from March 2025 until June 2026 after breaking his hand and subsequently undergoing shoulder surgery. He also missed time in 2024 because of a foot injury. His latest setback could keep him out through the next two months, depending on his recovery.
White missed the October 3 episode of Collision, where the Bang Bang Gang competed without him.
