UPDATE: Former WWE NXT Superstar Jazmyn Nyx answered more fan questions regarding her WWE exit via her SnapChat account. Nyx also noted that under her previous WWE contract, she was not making six figures.
When asked why she opted to quit WWE, Nyx responded, “Ultimately it came down to the work I was putting in and being booked for was not accurate with the amount I was being offered. And no I was not making 6 figures but that is the goal.” She added, “Not specifically my injuries, but the wear and tear that the job had on my body was one of the reasons. I was wrestling for both TNA and NXT every Tuesday and on the weekends without a day off.”
ORIGINAL: As previously reported, Jazmyn Nyx is leaving WWE and was recently written out of NXT storylines. She noted in a social media post that she turned down a new three-year contract because it “just wasn’t going to cut it” for her financially. In the replies to that post, someone questioned why Nyx would turn down the offer, and claimed she made between $80,000 to $150,000 a year.
In response, Nyx replied: “If I was making that, it would’ve been great!”
