JBL & Ron Simmons Recall Being Asked To Destroy Tim White’s Bar On TV So He Could Rebuild It

JBL & Ron Simmons recently recalled how Tim White had them destroy his bar in a WWE segment so he could rebuild it on WWE’s dime. As the APA, JBL and Simmons had had more than their share of bar fights on WWE TV. That included several that took place in the bar of the late WWE referee Tim White.

The two spoke in their appearance on Insight With Chris Van Vliet about how White would encourage them to destroy things iin the bar so he could replace them. You can see highlights below:

On If They Had a Limit For Damage During Bar Fights:

JBL: “It was just opposite with Tim White because he would tell us he had a jukebox that didn’t even work, and we threw a guy through the jukebox by Tim’s request. He got a digital jukebox to replace it. He had an analog television that didn’t work. He goes, ‘Guys, would you guys break my television?’ He got a flat screen TV to replace it.”

On White Rebuildiing His Bar Off Of It:

Simmons: “He rebuilt his entire bar.”

JBL: “Vince told us, I had no idea that I was going to rebuild Tim’s entire bar. So no, we had no parameters of what we could do or what we couldn’t do.”

Simmons: “By the way, [Tim] wouldn’t even give us a drink. Goes to show you how tight his ass was.”
