Judgment Day member JD McDonagh recently commented on one of the greatest strengths of the faction. The RAW faction has been around since WrestleMania 38, and over the years, it has seen several wrestlers come and go. According to JD, one of its greatest strengths is that it has regularly built new stars while also staying true to its philosophy of having no leaders.

JD claimed that Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest would never have become WWE World Champions had it not been for The Judgment Day. He also added that the group paved the way for Dominik Mysterio to become massively popular and gave him the chance to find his footing on the main roster.

McDonagh said this during a conversation with German Suplex Talk during WrestleMania 42 weekend. Below are the highlights:

On the greatest strength of The Judgment Day

“I feel that one of the Judgment Day’s greatest strengths is building new stars. Priest, Rhea, both came out of The Judgment Day world champions. They may not have won the world championships without The Judgment Day. Dom’s obviously a huge star now. Myself, it’s been a great vehicle for me to get introduced to the wrestling fans and get my feet on the main roster. I think Judgment Day has the longevity it has because we keep rotating group of members. When someone gets a little big for their boots, gets an ego, or wants to be the leader, we kick them out, and we get back to what the whole point of the group is, which is no egos, no leaders.”

On The Judgment Day being a family both on and off-screen

“Judgment Day is a family. It’s not just on camera; like, we eat together, we train together, stay in the same hotels, and go out partying together, yeah.”

The current iteration of The Judgment Day is Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, and JD McDonagh. Finn Balor is the most recent person to be booted out of the stable.
