JDC Loses His Retirement Match To Eddie Edwards At TNA Genesis 2026

JDC showed incredible resilience against longtime friend Eddie Edwards in his final wrestling match at TNA Genesis 2026, but it ultimately didn’t prove to be enough as Edwards walked away victorious.
JDC survived two successive Boston Knee Parties from Edwards, kicking out both times. However, Edwards was finally able to get the job done when he followed up a Superkick and an inverted Brainbuster with another Boston Knee Party to pick up the pinfall victory.
After the match, The System came out to celebrate with JDC. Additionally, the TNA locker room came out on the entrance stage to give their flowers to the now-retired wrestler. JDC soaked in the applause from fans and then went on to shake hands with the commentators before meeting his colleagues on the entranceway.
This draws curtains on the over-two-decade-old career of the former Fandango. He was a part of WWE from 2006 to 2021. In November 2025, JDC announced that he would step away from the squared circle at TNA Genesis 2026.
