Je’Von Evans Dealing With Cracked Ribs, Plans To Compete In Next Week’s NXT Battle Royal

Je’Von Evans is dealing with an injury following this week’s WWE NXT, but is still looking to compete in next week’s #1 contenders battle royal. Tuesday night’s show saw Evans lose a hard-fought battle against Shawn Spears in the main event. The match saw Spears dodge a dive by Evans that sent the latter hard into the announce table.

Evans posted to Twitter on Wednesday morning, writing:

“For Everyone Wondering, I’m All Good. Got Some Messed Up Ribs. The Dr Said They Are Cracked But Not Broken. Cmon Doc…We Gotta Tape ’em Up. Ya Boy Gotta Battle Royal Next Week!!!! #TheYoungOG #NXTYoungBlood #WWENXT”

Next week’s show will fetaure a 25-man battle royal to determine the next challenger for Trick Williams’ NXT Championship.
