Je’Von Evans has admitted that he is “nervous as hell” ahead of the upcoming Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.
The Young OG will battle Leon Slater, Joe Hendry, Dion Lennox, and Myles Borne in the 25-minute bout to earn the right to challenge for the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil.
In exclusive footage shared by WWE NXT’s X handle ahead of the premium live event, Evans admitted that he is nervous ahead of the high-stakes matches. He recounted his unsuccessful bid to win the Iron Survivor Challenge last year but is confident of getting the job done this time around.
Here’s what Je’Von Evans said:
“I’m nervous as hell. But we about to be lit. About to have a great time. You know what I mean? This is my second Iron Survivor Match. Last year, I was three seconds away. This year, I’ll be three seconds ahead. You know what I mean? Straight like that! Ya feel me? Let’s get bouncy!”
