Je’Von Evans Beats Trick Williams In WWE NXT Main Event After Mike Santana Distraction

Je’Von Evans is headed to NXT Heatwave, beating Trick Williams on this week’s WWE NXT after a distraction from TNA’s Mike Santana. Tuesday’s show was main evented by Evans vs. Williams with the winner going on to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at Heatwave this Sunday. Evans found himself in trouble after getting pushed from the top rope through the commentary booth, but he was able to battle back and the finish came when Williams ended up distracted by Santana in the balcony. That allowed Evans to hit a cutter and then a springboard cutter for the win.
NXT Heatwave takes place on Sunday and airs live on Peacock and Netflix internationally. You can see the updated card here.
