Jey Uso has a chance to become King of the Ring today at WWE Night of Champions, and he recently explained what it would mean to him. Uso is battling Oba Femi at Saturday’s PLE in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament. A win will give Uso a World Title shot at Summer Slam.

The Bloodline member was asked by Jackie Redmond in their sit-down interview what a win over Femi in the tournament would mean to him. He said that he wants to silence his doubters once again and said that while Rhodes is still his friend, this is about family. You can see the highlights below:

On What It Would Mean To Be King of the Ring:

“I mean, Jackie, it sets me up to put me back in the title picture. They doubted me the first title run. Now I’m back to possibly get another shot at it? I just wanna silence the noise again, Jackie. I want to shock the world again. Go to Saudi Arabia, beat Cody Rhodes.”

On Potentially Facing Rhodes:

“That’s still my dog though. But I’m gonna always choose family, uce. Yeet, that’s just what it is. And Cody Rhodes is just in the way. And he’s gotta get got, Jackie-O. I’m trying to bring all the gold back to the Bloodline.

“Man, thee, four years ago, we had all of it. I really felt the power. I got goosebumps, man because it felt good. It feels like — it’s this right here [closes fist]. Big Uce said it… We’re stronger this way. I’m trying to bring back gold. Man, I would love to bee WWE Undisputed Champion though, Jackie-O. Got a taste of the World Championship — Boom.”
