Jimmy Korderas Critiques Liv Morgan Cashing In Her MITB Shot Against Ronda Rousey

– In his latest July 4 Reffin Rant, former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas shared his critique of Liv Morgan cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase against Ronda Rousey last Saturday at WWE Money in the Bank 2022. Korderas argued it was not the best move for a babyface to cash in her title shot that way on an already injured and exhausted Rousey, who just defended her title against Natalya before Morgan cashed in her briefcase. Korderas stated the following:
“It was a nice surprise. It got the huge pop it wanted, but is it the way a babyface should win a championship and cash in their Money In The Bank? That’s the only issue I had. Yes, the crowd did love it, but at the same time, babyfaces don’t do it that way. Maybe, if she came in and said to Ronda Rousey, ‘I want to cash this in, are you ready?’ And Ronda said, ‘Okay,’ and then do it, then you can make a case for that injury, other than that…”
Liv Morgan won her first Money in the Bank match and WWE Championship of her career at the event. WWE Money in the Bank 2022 was held last Saturday (Jul. 2) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was broadcast live on WWE Network and Peacock.
In today's #ReffinRant enjoyed MITB PPV (PLE) very much but the littles things. Happy for Liv but the cash-in was not very babyface like was it🤔
Happy 4th to those celebrating and as always #STAYSAFE pic.twitter.com/7KX0bVxoaw— Jimmy Korderas (@jimmykorderas) July 4, 2022
