John Cena Hypes Up Mason Rook After Attack On Last Night’s WWE NXT

Mason Rook made his name well known on last night’s WWE NXT, and John Cena continues to be a big fan of his. As noted, Rook (formerly known as Will Kroos) apepared after the main event match between Tony D’Angelo and Tavion Heights on last night’s episode of NXT. Rook took out both D’Angelo and Heights before revealing his new ring name to the camera.
After the show, Cena posted to Twitter to hype Rook up again, writing:
“He’s BIG…
He’s BAD…
He’ll BODYSLAM YER DAD!!!!”
This is the second time in a row Cena has commented on Rook’s NXT work, having commented the same last week. Rook commented, writing:
“Sounds so nice, the [GOAT] had to say it twice.”
Cena is set to appear at WWE Backlash on Saturday.
