John Cena Tells Fans Plans are in Place for John Cena Classic

The John Cena Classic was announced by the man himself at WWE Backlash back in May. We haven’t heard much in the way of details yet. Recent reports indicate that WWE’s December 12th event in Perth, Australia will host the event, but nothing is official on that front.

John Cena was at Fan Expo Canada this past weekend to take some questions from fans. He covered a number of interesting topics and was also asked about the Classic. Cena wasn’t going to drop any details there, but he was happy to let the fans know that WWE does have some plans in place.

John Cena on the John Cena Classic:

“I can’t say nothing right now. Normally, I want to say ‘We’re figuring out all the details.’ I’ll say this, we have all the details. You just have to hang in there with me because they want me to keep it a secret until it’s time to say it. We have a lot of information we’re going to dump on you, it just ain’t going to be today,”

WWE currently plans to hold SmackDown, Wrestlepalooza & Raw in Perth from December 11-14. More announcements will be made about these events soon, and if the John Cena Classic is involved I expect we’ll find out about it soon, likely from John Cena.
