Keep Refreshing For The Latest Results

SICKOS! It’s Wednesday, and I need a break, a Spring Break in fact, and luckily for all of us, Tony Khan and AEW will provide it to us tonight! Coming to us live from the BayCare Sound in Clearwater Beach, Florida, tonight’s card is chockfull of PPV-caliber matches proving that, yet again, our best friend Tony loves to spoils us fans until we are rotten!

For more on tonight’s show, let’s roll the Headlines!

  • Jericho and Tommy! Weeks of personal and physical attacks will come to a head tonight, when Tommaso Ciampa and Jericho (Just Jericho) will do battle in the ring to show, once and for all, who truly is the Greatest Wrestler of All-Time.
  • Running the Gauntlet! Tonight, the ladies will be running the gauntlet to determine who gets a shot at Thekla and her Women’s World Title at Redemption, and while we know that Athena and Maya World drew #1 and #2 to open the match, it remains a mystery as to who else and how many more ladies get into the match.
  • ProtoShita Explodes! Konosuke Takeshita will defend his International Title against the man who betrayed him in the form of Kyle Fletcher, who is seeking to return the title back to the Don Callis Family after Takeshita won it from Kazuchika Okada at Double or Nothing in May.
  • The Stakes Have Never Been Higher! After initially refusing to give Kenny Omega a shot at his World Heavyweight Title, Maxwell Jacob Friedman changed his mind and agreed to give Kenny a shot on the condition that, if he defeats Omega, then like Cody Rhodes and Hangman Page before him, Omega can never challenge for the World Title again. All of this and, of course, so much more in store for us tonight!
  • So, how are we doing on this Hump Day? I think I mentioned this once or twice before, but I have enjoyed every season of Darkside of the Ring, and now that season seven is upon us, I will giddy with joy yet again. I just find the material compelling and some of the stories are so wild that they could have been submitted to “Ripley’s Believe it or Not!”

On the sports side of things, the Flyers are trying to get an early jump on breaking the NHL after they offered Anaheim’s Leo Carlsson a 5-year 90-million dollar offer sheet. Given that the sport has FINALLY seen a growth in the salary cap after years of stagnation, this was going to happen at some point, so Danny Briere just got ahead of the inevitable. The Fever continue to win even without CC22 and are better defensively somehow for it, while the Phillies continue a Jekyll and Hyde approach to the game, although they are two games out of first in the NL East.

But enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to make the Dynamite go BOOM!

I NEED A BREAK, I NEED A SPRING BEACH BREAK!

Tonight, Beach Break Dynamite is LIVE from Clearwater Beach, Florida! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz are on the call for us!

Kenny Omega is ready for tonight’s main event! He speaks to Renee with his personal trainer Michael Naka…Naka…Nakazawa! Omega says this is do or die and his back is against the wall. But that’s where he does his best work. On the Indies, not in AEW and in New Japan. Kenny says that the Bucks aren’t here, only his good friend Michael, because he has proven that he can do this on his own. If this is in fact the end, then he will stick out his hand and he will shake MJF’s hand. But Kenny wonders if MJF is ready for this. That ring is going to be 102 degrees out there; can you handle that? There is a spot in the main event of the biggest show of the year online, and he hasn’t worked 27 years to get to this point just to give up now. So, until the main event, Kenny must bid us adieu, so goodnight, MUAH, and goodnight, BANG!

    My Shadow Knows My Story!

    Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa

Ciampa makes his entrance, but he waits behind the stage set for Jericho to come out. Joke is on him, however, as Jericho enters through the crowd, enters up the ramp, and attacks Ciampa! Jericho’s music keeps playing as he drops Ciampa into the plastic beach chairs. He smacks Ciampa with one before putting Ciampa in the ring so the match can start officially.

Jericho continues the assault and he tries to apply the Walls, but Ciampa escapes and heads to the floor. Tommaso isn’t safe, however, as Jericho heads to the top and he hits a crossbody block! Jericho and Taz slap hands, and Jericho returns Ciampa to the ring. Tommaso recovers in time to hit Jericho with a draping DDT as he comes back into the ring. Ciampa throws Jericho out onto the ring apron, hits a running knee, and poses in the ring.

Ciampa heads out to the apron, and he picks up Jericho, but the man formally known as Chris reverses and hits a DVD to Ciampa! Jericho with chops and he fires Ciampa into the ring steps. Jericho leads Ciampa up the ring steps and looks for a suplex, but Ciampa bounces Jericho’s head off of the ring post and hits a standing Pedigree!

Ciampa picks out a bald fan with an Ospreay footie jersey on and kisses him on the head, as we see Jericho is busted open. Ciampa rains down with right hands and, not one to be outdone, he high-fives Taz but takes doing the same with Excalibur lol. That’ll take us to the break.
