Impact Zone! It’s Thursday Night, which means that we are in a brand-new edition of the delight known as Impact! Tonight’s episode will be the first of four episodes taking place the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada!

Tonight’s episode will serve as the fall-out from Lockdown this past Sunday. And to that end, the battle between Jason Hotch and Mustafa Ali will continue, and we will get the Finals of the Knockouts Television Title Tourney.

So, how is everyone doing on this Thursday Night? Not a lot going on here that differs from the past few days. I’m just eyeing those calendar days until the Eagles and the Flyers start, and I’ll get to see Cheap Trick!
But enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to brace for Impact!
Tonight’s episodic edition of Impact is LIVE from the outskirts of Toronto in Brampton! Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt are on the call!

I’M READY FOR YOU aka the Title Sequence!
Tom welcomes us to the show. He reports what we already knew if you watched Lockdown, and that is Slater cashing in his X-Title for a shot at Nic’s World Title at BFG.
Speaking of Nic, The Wanted Man and his younger brother are here! Ryan has the mic. It’s a great day to be a Nemeth Bro! We beat the Hardys AGAIN, we’re the tag team champs AGAIN, and my big brother is the TNA World Champion AGAIN! You are looking at the greatest family in the history of professional wrestling!
Nic says that must make him the most valuable man in TNA! He is above the law, and he can buy his way out of anything! HAHAHA! Ryan says you have done something that no one else has done in this company except for one man, and we see Kurt Angle’s name on the screen. Nic makes jokes about him being bald and retired. Ryan says it’s disrespectful to even have that guy’s name here with Nic in the arena.
Speaking of disrespectful, Leon Slater! You ruined our champagne celebration! You cashed in your X-Division Title to get a shot at my title. And Nic says that, even if you are a one trick pony like Leon, to always bet on yourself. UNLESS IT’S AGAINST ME! HAHAHA!
Leon is here! Do you really think I came out at the end of Lockdown to face you and take the piss from you? No, BRUV, I came out there to tell you exactly how things are going to go. Leon has had a great habit of saying things and getting things done. And if he says he is going to become the youngest World Champion this company has ever seen, you best believe he is getting it done.
But all of this title talk has gotten Leon thinking. You also have tag team titles, which it was nice of you to give your bug-eyed brother a title. Oddly enough, Leon has found himself a partner, and they haven’t lost since they became a team. Ricky Sosa is here! Ryan says they don’t deserve a title shot, and Leon and Ricky make fun of him lol.
Santino Marella is here! SONOFAGUN! How are we doing, Brampton? Ryan, you are right, Daria Rae wouldn’t do that match. But I would! And that would make a great main event match for tonight!
Order-4 are in the big. The Headlights of Order is on the phone apparently with Ali. She hangs up, and Moore says that Mr. Ali is still in the hospital after what happened to him on Sunday. And seeing as to how he was supposed to team with Special Agent Zero against Hotch and Miguel, John Skylar will take his place instead. And Mila says, with Mr. Ali not here, that means John is in charge of Order-4 tonight. Tasha Steelz scoffs, but John seems pretty happy about this.
Tom and Matt run down the card for tonight. Elijah will face Bear Bronson, next!
Since this is a live show, the actual in-ring stuff shows on the feed. This time around, we have Iceman boring the live fans to tears, while The Swimmer does swimming stuff.

CAN’T STOP THE SYSTEM! The Bear and Brian are out. Brian says they may have some new scars, but when the risk went up, when the match got ultra-violent, the Gatekeepers of TNA proved that you cannot be the System!
Bear Bronson w/Brian Myers vs. Elijah
Apparently, Elijah is challenging the System because he believes that they beat him up backstage. Okay, but that doesn’t explain why Cedric was beaten up, too.
Elijah takes control at the bell, as he walks the top rope and continues to work on the shoulder of Bronson. To the floor they go, but Bronson turns the tables. We had back to the ring, where Bronson plants Elijah with the Bossman Slam! Down come the straps, forearms from Bronson, chops from Elijah. Bronson eats not ONE but TWO SUPERKICKS, and Bronson hits the Choke bomb! Elijah kicks out at 2.5!
Bronson sets up Elijah for a piledriver, but Elijah lifts the Bear up and hits the Alabama Slam! Myers is on the apron, and Elijah knocks him to the floor. Elijah sits Bronson on the top rope, and he pulls him in for the Highwayman’s Farewell, and Elijah wins it!

THOUGHTS: Elijah lost to A.J. Francis at Lockdown, so this was a get-right win for him. Also, something about revenge.

Post-match, the rest of the System are here to beat up Elijah for real, for all of us to see. No one comes to save Elijah.

During this break, Ontario’s own Allie is out to talk to the fans. She wasn’t sure if she would be alone on Sunday or who would help, but she called a friend. And her friend said HELL YEAH, so Allie said HELL YEAH! Kiera Hogan comes out. Hogan said it felt good to return after all of these years and winning a title. But she knows she is just holding the title for Rosemary, but Kiera is just happy to be back!

Elayna Black is in the back. She was proud of her performance on Sunday, but she is disappointed that she did not walk out of her hometown as Knockouts Champion. But she knows this is her karma. She has done some bad things here, and she accepts that. But she wants to do it the right way no, for her family, for her friends, and for all the little girls who look up to her. She is only 25 years-old, and she is year one in TNA, so she will be Champion soon.
It’s time for some Order-4!
John Skylar & Special Agent Zero W/Order-4 vs. Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch
Miguel and Skylar to start. Miguel off the ropes with an arm drag and a dropkick. Tag to Hotch, and Jason doesn’t want to fight Skylar. Zero doesn’t care, so he tags in and goes after Hotch. Jason turns the table with a flying head scissor! Zero to the floor, and here comes Hotch with a Tope Cornio!
The “break” hits, as Mila grabs the leg of Hotch. Lucky guy. Zero throws Hotch into the ring steps and the beating continues in the ring. Zero hunts Hotch like he’s a lion and Hotch’s a gazelle. Tag to Skylar, who all of a sudden isn’t afraid to go after Hotch. Weird, I tell you.
Tag back out to Zero, who lifts Hotch over his head and presses him to the mat. Zero chokes out Hotch, and Mila chokes Jason out behind the ref’s back. Again, I have to say, lucky guy. Tom says this is episode 1,154 of Impact as Zero hits the Hellevator on Hotch for a two. Zero is so mad that the ref runs from the ring lol.
Hotch with strikes and an enziguri, but Zero intercepts his tag with a bearhug. Hotch bites his way free and hits a jawbreaker. Blind tag by Skylar, but Hotch kicks him away and tags in Miguel. Trey takes John downtown and eats a chop, kips up, and hits an enziguri to Skylar. To the top goes Miguel, but Zero saves Skylar and salts Miguel! Hotch looking rolling neck breaker, but he cuts himself off when he reaches Skylar. They talk it out, and Zero ends up booting Skylar! Hotch takes out Zero on the floor, and Miguel hits a top rope Meteora to pin Skylar!
WINNERS: Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch.
TIME: 8:55
THOUGHTS: A pretty good match if not a bit formulaic. Trey continues to be the thorn in the side of the System since he returned.
RATING: ***1/4
Post-match, we see Mustafa Ali in hospital! He applauds Hotch on saying he would put Ali in the dirt, but he ended up in hospital instead. And it’s more painful, but he knows Hotch is hurting too. Everyone around them is hurting as well. Tasha took the steel door in the head, and Jason’s Family hasn’t handled this well. So, Ali is proposing a truce. He wants Hotch to re-join Order-4 and join arms. Otherwise, he will have to bear arms.
Hotch is seething in the ring and is very conflicted.
In the back, BDE and Rich Swann are watching video on Brandon’s phone. The Righteous are here, Swann makes fun of the finger snapping, and Rich says he wants them to go away. Vincent says you made us do that, Brandon! Dutch says that he is going to speak to Daria Rae, and BDE will face Uncle Dutch! Maybe you win, maybe you lose! Alright then!
History will be made next, when M by Elegance and Jada Stone face-off for the Knockouts TV Title!
The System are out during the next break. I can’t say that I care.
Gia Miller is in the back, and Avery Styles is here! He says he grew up watching this place and he watched his father succeed here. Moose is here. He congratulates Avery on signing, but he warns Avery as to who to associate with. Frankie Kazarian is not someone that will help him unless it’s to his benefit.
Speak of the King, and he’s here to object. He tells Moose that he is a loser, and Avery shouldn’t be taking advice from losers. Frankie wants to show Avery something, so they leave.
Video package for the Knockouts TV Title Finals! We get a look at the entire bracket leading up to this point, and Matt lets us know that the winner will defend the title only on Impact. I mean, TV Title, yeah that makes sense. The title does look really nice.
Knockouts TV Title Tourney Finals: M by Elegance vs. Jada Stone
McKenzie Mitchell gives us a special introduction for this match.
The bell rings, and Maggie uses her size advantage to shove Jada to the corner. Stone rolls up Maggie on repeat looking to end this one early. Maggie to the corner, Jada with a corner charge. Maggie sends Jada to the apron the second time, but Jada with a big forearm. Stone to the top with a missile dropkick! The cover for a two. Maggie rolls out to the floor, and Jada makes the mistake of following her outside. Maggie hits the Wheelbarrow Suplex to Stone onto the apron!
The camera cut away on a close-up of Maggie. Fire that got dang camera person! Back in the ring, and Jada kicks out at one. Stone tries to fight back, but Maggie picks her up and hits the Michinoku Driver for a two. Maggie throws Jada into the corner so hard that they both fall down, but Maggie covers it up by blowing us kisses lol. Cover for a two.
Stone off the ropes, but Maggie kicks her right in the face. That’s another two. Maggie with Davey Boy Smith approved Chin lock. Stone to her feet, but she willingly jumps into the arms of Maggie, who hits her with a Fallaway Slam for a two. Jada rolls to the ropes, and Maggie goes after the taped-up shoulder of Stone. Jada with a small package for a two! Maggie isn’t happy about this, so she dropkicks Stone.
Maggie continues the attack in the corner. Snapmare into a basement dropkick for a two. Maggie puts Stone on the top rope, Jada shoves Maggie off the top, but she’s back with a big boot! Tower of Elegance for a two. Tom even shouts out Desmond Wolfe LMAO. Maggie heads to the top while the rest of the brand cheer her on. Stone avoids the moonsault, and Jada avoids a pump kick as she lays in forearms. Stone with a Rana and a dropkick!
Stone with the 619 to Maggie! Stone rolls Maggie through into a double stomp! The cover, but Maggie is out at two. Stone off the ropes, Spark Stunner is countered with a roll-up for a two. Jada with a self-defense kick to Maggie, and Jada to the top. Maggie picks Stone off the top and hits the Blue Thunder Bomb! SUPERKICK from Maggie, Stone with a drop toehold and an elbow to the back of the head. Jada’s moonsault meets knees! Maggie with a cartwheel into a Powerbomb! Maggie to the top, but Stone kicks her in the head!
Both ladies fight on the top rope. AVALANCHE SPANISH FLY BY STONE! TNA Chants, as Stone AGAIN goes to the top. Stone hits the moonsault, but Maggie rolls closer to the rope to prevent the pin. Maggie misses a clothesline, but she catches Jada’s Spark Stunner. Roll-up from Stone, but Maggie rolls through and hits Jada with a sit-down piledriver, and we have our first TV Champion!
WINNER: M by Elegance (AND NEW!!!!)
TIME: 11:05
THOUGHTS: Stone had a lot of fire in this match, but after she got beaten up in the Lethal Lockdown match, this was still a prime showing. But Maggie is undeniable, and she proved as much tonight. May she have a long and prosperous title reign!
RATING: ***3/4
During this break, Frankie Kazarian and Avery Styles appeared. Frankie doesn’t want Avery to be like his dad; Avery has to find out who he is and he has to make his own name in TNA.
We come back from the break to see Jeff Hardy getting loaded up in an ambulance. Totally NOT because he can’t legally travel to Canada lol. Matt Hardy wants to travel with his brother, so they let him in the back.
Indi Wrestling is here! You know, usually she is a pretty happy, easy going, positive person. But she can’t lie, she is a little bit pissed off right now. Hearing Daria Rae says she doesn’t deserve a title shot sits wrong with her. Someone yells DARIA IS A BITCH lol. This is Indi’s dream. There is no plan B. She dropped out of university for this. She has never been stronger, and she is in her prime. She will not let anyone or anything stand her way anymore!
The Suit is here! SHUTUPSHESTALKING! Daria says Indi’s story is touching and it almost got her. But she realizes that this World is full of false hope and dreams. Just because Indi grew up idolizing wrestling doesn’t mean that she deserves anything. She is an underperformer. If you bring money to the company, then you will get a title shot, but your ass should be back in catering.
Indi says she knows what happened, she called Daria Diaherra Rae. Whoops! Daria says her line not once but twice. Indi says that Daria should remember that her motto was hair up, fists up, or did you forget that. Daria says that IF she were to get into the ring again, she would send Indi the whole way back to Kangaroo Land.
Indi laughs at this and says that if they ever did face-off, she would beat Daria and then no one would be in her way. Daria says fine, if that’s how you want it, and we see Indi get attacked from behind. IT’S ZOEY SERRANO! The former Zoey Stark beats up on Indi, Daria introduces her good friend to Indi, and Zoey and Daria shake hands!
During this break, the Hometown Man is out in his hometown Blue Jays jersey!
Indi Hartwell is brooding in the back. Here comes Harley Hudson. They commiserate over Daria Rae being a bitch. Hudson says that if she ever needs it, she has Indi’s back and seals it with a fist-bump! Xia Brookside is here! She makes fun of Harley and Indi for being the Daria H8 club! Brookside says that you hear Daria, there will be no title match for Indi. Here comes Santino, and he says he can make the match. But Daria is here, and she calls Santino an idiot and tells Indi that the board doesn’t look upon her favorably. Santino says he will book a tag match between “Hartswell” and “Rock Hudson” against “Broadside” and “Soprano”. Unintentional humor is not always better, my guy.
We see next week KC Navarro will face Joe Alanzo in a qualifying match to crown a new X-Division Champion at BFG!
It’s main event time! But first, it’s break time! During this break, the Champions make fun of the fans, and Nic trolls the fans over wanting to see Leon and Ricky win the tag team titles. He tries to get a USA chant started lol. This is countered with LAKE ONTARIO chants. LMAO! Never change, you crazy Mothercanuckers!
TNA World Tag Team Title Match: The Nemeth Brothers (C) vs. Leon Slater and Ricky Sosa
I’m going to enjoy Sosa and Slater in this match. The Nemeth Brothers? Eh.
Leon and Nic to start this one. But wait, Nic tags in Ryan instead. Slater with a dropkick and off the ropes he comes with a springboard clothesline. He hypes up the fans and lands mounted punches to Ryan in the corner. Slater takes Ryan to his corner and Sosa tags in. Double team hip toss and a Senton Back Splash for a two.
Ryan avoids further abuse, and NOW Nic tags in lol. Nic rings the arm of Sosa, only for Ricky to return the favor. Sosa with a BIG shoulder tackle, a scoop slam and a dropkick follow. Nemeth shuts that down with a poke to the eyes and he tags in Ryan. Tom says Ryan told him to refer to him as Buy rate Ryan lol. Sosa counters with a Rana and tags in Slater. Leon fires off Ryan, hits a big boot, and heads to the top for a crossbody! The cover, but Nic saves his little brother!
Slater floors both brothers with a running Enziguri! Slater has Ryan up, round and round he goes into Utopia! The cover, but Ryan is out at two. Little brother goes outside to regroup with big brother as Nic requests a time out. Sir, this isn’t a Cleveland Browns game lol. Speaking of, woof, how about Watson, huh?
Ryan is back in the ring; Slater cuts him off with a kick and a big chop. Slater with another chop and he tags in Sosa. Ricky stalls with the chop, but he ends up hitting Ryan with it. The cover, one count. Tag to Slater, who heads to the top and he hits a double axe. Ryan goes to the eyes, and he takes in his BIG BROTHER! Nic taunts Sosa and the brothers work over Slater in their corner. Leon cuts off his offense with a roll-up for a two.
Ryan with the tag, but as you would expect, he finds himself in some trouble as Sosa hits a double stomp for a two. Scoop slam from Slater, he heads to the top, Nic tries to cut him off, Slater off the top, but he comes down lame, and Ryan takes advantage. Tag to his BIG BROTHER and Nic fires Leon into the corner upside down. Nic mocks Slater and goes after his eyes in the ropes. Nic takes the ref, allowing Ryan the chance to forearm Slater.
Slater looking tag, but Nic has other ideas. Ryan tags in, and he gets a two on a pin. Neck Breaker from Ryan for another two. Nic is in, he taunts Sosa, and he smacks Slater into the corner. Leon gets up and close with the top rope as Ryan tags back in. He talks some mad smack and poses, but Slater levels him with a SUPERKICK! At this point, Nic should know better lol.
Nic in to stop Leon from the tag, but he eats an enziguri for his trouble. Sosa gets the tag and he lays out both brothers. Springboard Moonsault to Nic which gets him a two. Ricky has Nic up, but Nic escapes and grabs the tights on the roll-up for a two. Sosa with a twisting neck breaker, but that is a two. Ryan is in, and he is out of the ring just as quickly lol. It does allow Nic the chance to hit the DDT for a two.
Nemeth tunes up the band, but Sosa catches him with the Blue Thunder Bang! Tag to Slater, and he hits the 450 Senton Splash! The cover, but Ryan pulls Leon out of the ring, and he throws Slater into the ring steps. Sosa off the top rope with a springboard CUTTER to Nic! The cover, but that’s a two. THIS IS AWESOME chants, Ricky goes BANG BANG, off the ropes, but Ryan grabs his foot. He gets kicked in the face for his effort. SLATER CLEARS THE CORNER WITH EASE AND TAKES OUT RYAN!
Nic is waiting in the weeds with a SUPERKICK! The cover, but Sosa is out at two. Nic tries another SUPERKICK, but Sosa catches him and hits a Powerbomb with the stack for a two. Sosa lines up the HEADSHOT, but Nic intercepts him and hits the Danger Zone! The pin, and the Champions retain!
WINNERS: The Nemeth Bros (And still!)
TIME: 15:40
THOUGHTS: There was an air about this match that it felt like Sosa and Slater could win the titles, especially when Ryan was in the ring. But his BIG BROTHER wasn’t allowing that to happen, but the match was great, if for no other reason than the fact that Sosa and Slater are amazing.
RATING: ****
Post-match, the Champions celebrate with their titles, and with that, we are done!
